  1. How well did you know your partner before this activity?

I didn’t know her at all. We were just classmates in Art 110

2. How well do you know them now?

I got to know Julia better than I would of if we didn’t meet and it’s a start to a new friendship. I got to see what she likes, what her interests were and see if we had anything in common.

3. Does this seem like a way to make new connections in a time of pandemic isolation?

Yes, as it helps connects others to make new friends but in a way it’s not the same as it would be obviously in person by actually talking to them and seeing how the friendship turns out.

4. What is another way you can think of to make new connections in a time of pandemic isolation?

I say another way to make new connections would be playings games with each other while having a game to play you can talk to each other as some get competitive and it’s fun to see.

5. What platform did you use to communicate with your partner? How well did it work? Or not work? What other tool, or type of tool, might have been better?

We used instagram to communicate with each other. It worked really well, both of us responded quickly to get to know each other. Another platform we could of used was snapchat.

6. How did Padlet work for you? Was it easy to use? Did it communicate well? Can you think of another platform that might be better?

It worked really well, but I couldn’t move the text message boxes where I wanted. It was easy, pretty straightforward on how to use it. It did communicate well. Another platform would be any collage app to make it about my partner.

7. What if, instead of meeting classmates, your goal was professional connections? How can you connect to people in your fiend in a time of pandemic isolation?

If this was a professional term, I would either use Facebook or emails. On Facebook we can messenger and with emails, it would easier as if it was speaking to a professor or manager.
