Derek Hough is an American Dancer although he grew up in London as he practiced his ballroom and Latin dances before exploring more. Before becoming a judge on “World of Dance”, he appeared on Dancing with the Stars many times. He has won a record six times with his celebrity partners and two Emmy awards. He has toured with his sister and made some appearance in different productions, movies, and shows.

His performances are obviously different in each style and it’s amazing. His dance form is either I would say very emotional and intense or very fast. I’ve watched four of Derek Hough performances and two of them were emotional as they acted out when it’s a real story. It showed a story within a dance that the audience can see and understand how the pain people actually go through when this happens in real life. However with his other dances it was very fast and strong. It made a pop as you see the hard work the dancers that includes him have been through.

I don’t think Derek has a specific thoughts in his work other than judging the contestant. His work is by choreographing dances that he makes and performs them which can be difficult as you need to make dances that fit into the song and make sure it looks good. He expands his work coming up with different ideas.

With Derek’s work and performances are amazing. Being a dancer is hard enough but choreographing is harder for me in my opinion and it’s crazy to see how he has so many ideas and puts it into a performance. One of the dances gave me chills because you can see the dedication put into this dance but also seeing the meaning behind it. There’s a lot more than just a good dance. It has details that you have to see on your own to recognize.
